What a blessing!

Along with all the other festivities last weekend, we also blessed Sarah on Sunday. Jeff did a great job and gave her a beautiful blessing. How lucky I am to have 3 beautiful girls! Have I mentioned what a great baby she is? If not, she is!

Thanks to everyone who was able to share the weekend with us and making it so special! Love you all! More pictures from Sunday! Enjoy!

A special thank you to my friend Josetta for making the beautiful dress Sarah wore for her blessing. It made the day extra special with your touch. Your awesome and I love you dearly!

Happy Birthday - again!

It's not often that 6 year olds get to celebrate their birthday twice in one week, but Emilie and Ada managed it this year thanks to family coming into town. So Sunday night we celebrated again!
They each got their own cake. Emilie had white cake with pink frosting and Ada had chocolate cake with purple frosting. They had to have two #6 candles because they just couldn't decide which one they liked better! Decisions decisions - it can be tough being 6!

Happy Birthday Again!

Grandchildren's Christmas Party

Every year Jeff's grandma would have a grandchildren's Christmas party. In fact the cousins still get together for the grandchildren's party, with everyone who can, even though they are older and have children of their own. It's a great tradition and Jeff's mom has carried it on with her own grandchildren. Since we and the Blair's live away, our kids don't get to attend very often. So this year since Kathy and Richard were coming to visit for the weekend,
they brought the party to us!

The festivities took place Saturday night. They went to dinner (Via a very round about way. Jeff even had to go rescue them and lead the way to the restaurant!) and then came back to our house for bingo, a fish pond and then a talent show.

We don't have too many pictures since the adults are not invited to the party.
But we were honored to be invited to the talent show portion and even got to participate!
.................................................................................
Kathy and Richard
Emilie and Ada were the MC's for the talent show.
They did a great job! Maybe a future in show biz!?!$$
James' talent was stuffing as many peanut m&m's
in his mouth as he could.
I think he got 20 something in there - I'm sure he could of gotten more if he wasn't laughing so hard!

Bryant sang a song about St. Louis to the tune of Under the Sea.
Fortunately I spared you from the vocals!

Emilie showed off her acrobatic ability with the help of Richard doing a filp onto his back!
No, your not seeing double. Ada performed the same fabulous trick!

The Barnes family sang the Utah fight song - I spared you from the vocals of that as well.
The Von Trapps we are not!

Thanks for a grand party!

CTR

Okay, Okay, I know that the reorganized U of U won the game today thanks to a little luck and some help from a couple extra team members calling penalties on Utah, BUT we still CTR. We may have lost the battle, but we are winning the war! GO UTES!

And the party continues............

Wednesday afternoon the Blair Clan (Jeff's sister Heather and family) came up from St. Louis for the weekend. The girls couldn't have been more excited. About every 10 minutes they would ask me when the Blairs were going to get here. They know when the Blairs come the party is on and they have more people to hang out with, more importantly play games with!

Thanksgiving day was great fun! Lots of food, fun, family and friends! The way Thanksgiving should be. Emilie and Ada waited all day to decorate their gingerbread houses.
They did a great job!

Friday afteroon Grandma and Grandpa Fankhauser came to visit (and yes the Blairs are still here and there are more to come!). The birthday fun continued since G & G took them to the mall to Build a Bear to buy a new outfit for their bears. Very cute and festive!

Ada

Emilie

This morning we all went to G&G's hotel and had breakfast and went swimming. Emilie and Ada could hardly stand the wait. They love swimming, especially with dad and Grandpa Fank!

Luckily the weekend isn't over yet! There is more fun to be had!

Happy Birthday!

Happy 6th Birthday to the best twins in the world!
It was a fun day full of their favorites.
Emilie had waffles and Ada had Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast.
Then for lunch they wanted chicken nuggets from Burger King.
The only place they will eat them from. Why?
Because they are crown shaped. Only the best for the princesses!
Then pizza for dinner!
We'll be doing a mold check tomorrow
because they are looking a bit spoiled with all those presents!
A gift from Dad's co-worker Ben who didn't know that Emi likes pink and Ada likes purple. Books titled Pinkalicious and Purplicious. Very fitting for two girls who are definiately pinkalicious and purplicious!

Their favorite gift of all - High School Muscial Dance Mat!

Priceless!

This afternoon Sarah was asleep in her swing downstairs. When she woke up she started to fuss so I went and picked her up and there it was, she had messed her diaper that was a bit full to begin with and it leaked. So I took her upstairs to change her and layed her down on the changing table and she looked at me with a huge grin. So I started chating with her and I opened up her diaper, which was disgusting! I proceeded to let her know how gross it was and that it was all over her clothes. Well she thought this was quite funny and let out a big giggle. As I continued to tell her about it, she giggled over and over. Couldn't have been scripted any better. Made changing the diaper the best part of my day! Pack of diapers: $12, box of wipes: $2, baby's first giggle: priceless!

FIRE FIRE!

Today was the open house for the new fire station and community service station that was built across the street from our subdivision. So we took the kids over for the tour. Ada was more than unhappy that I let the fireman take our picture, so she wouldn't turn around! She only wanted me to take pictures of her. Heaven forbid mom be in a picture! Quite stubborn! Wonder where she got that from? ;-)

On the back of the ambulance

Ada finally decided to participate in pictures again when our friends showed up.

First battle wound!

So Sarah received her first battle wound today. While Jeff was changing Sarah's diaper Emilie was reading a small cardboard book by her and accidently dropped it hitting Sarah's cheek. Sarah got over it pretty quickly and I'm sure this is the first of many for her!

the weekend before Halloween.
It was so much fun! We haven't seen them since we went to Salt Lake in June, way too long!

It was non-stop High School Musical karaoke and dance party!
Emilie and Ada showing off their singing skills!
Parker doing the hula with his pom pom skirt! His dad was very proud!
"I Want Fabulous!"
Relaxing in the hot tub after a swim!
Just the girls!

Thanks for a fun weekend! It was truly "Fabulous"!
