Home church?

It was probably about a year ago on a Sunday morning when we were getting ready for church and Ada said "Mom can we do home church? Kids get to do home school, why can't we do home church?"

Today I'm thinking it would be a really good idea since the actual temp is -7 and the feel like temp is -33. On days like today it's VERY, VERY tempting. If Jeff didn't have to speak today, I would highly consider the option.

We are doing home church today! Only its due to the fact that I have pink eye now in the right eye, ella has a cough and Dave pulled a muscle in his back. Im bummed because the Sunday before Christmas is always one of my favorite Sundays. Only the BEST speakers, like Jeff!

... and we're up to 13!

I thought having to speak in church was more of a temptation to stay home than the temperature?!!

I remember Christmas Eve of 2004 (in Wisconsin) it was -29...at 2:00pm...it was the HIGH temperature of the day. I talked to my mom and dad in Hawaii one their mission. It was 72 degrees. So, we basically had a 100 degree difference between us.

I really don't miss those upper mid-west winters. When you get home, put Sarah down for a nap, start a fire, get some hot chocolate and a blanket and enjoy! It's one of the good things about it being FREEZING outside.
