That Parenting Stuff

Yesterday as the girls and I were getting ready for church, I was upstairs getting Sarah dressed and I could hear Emilie downstairs saying "Ada" over and over and each time getting a little more agitated as she said her name. Then Emilie yells upstais to me "Mom, Ada keeps ignoring me." So I said back to her, "Em's what do you think I should do?" Her reply "You know, that parenting stuff you do." What I think she meant was "I would like to get my sister in trouble, could you come YELL at Ada and tell her to answer me?" They then called that parenting stuff "parentaerobics". Very fitting I think, especially since I sometimes find myself rather exhausted after doing that parenting stuff!
